Jonathan Barrett is a freelance multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer based in Louisville, KY. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he holds degrees in bassoon and saxophone performance. Jonathan has garnered past recognition from Downbeat Magazine’s Student Music Awards, the Elmhurst Jazz Festival, and others, as well as a 2017 GRAMMY recommendation for best improvised jazz solo.
